A bit of a change-up on certain things stated in last month's update is happening, so only the reviews had gone up. For WattPad, I really want to start putting the last of the stuff from the old site up.
That means the few short stories that were on the site get put into Shorts of the Rula, and the entirety of Pokémon: Shadow Boom gets uploaded as its own story. However, it isn't just going to be a straight port of content.

As I said on the last social media post, October for me had been a pretty rough month. September had been planning time, and the content from that planning will start showing itself. Here's a bit of a rundown on that.
In terms of fiction-related works, I have started on the next self-published novel. The planning for it has been pretty good, and while I can't guarantee it will come before the end of the year, it won't be far off from it. I've already stated it will be more focused on the fantasy genre, and I am now revealing that it is based in a digital world - so think how a video game plays, and you have a fair idea of where I'm going with this. The focus is JRPGs, so think what elements come into play with one of those. After the slight delay with A Look Inside the Morphing Grid for August, I am confident that the next post will come in no time at all. With two of my favourite seasons of Power Rangers being covered within, I'm pretty sure no slacking will happen.
With Doctor Who: The Star Wars Chronicles finished, I'll be putting a new story onto WattPad soon. Just as with Crossover Corruption and Alternate Extras, this will be a story that features nothing but short stories with an upload schedule not being fixed. As said when I posted a Sonic Generations video to social media, most of what I set out in the July update failed to show. I said on that social media post I would explain why those posts are missing.
The fact is, I've been working toward getting my next book finished for this month. And that book is one I can announce, as I'm hoping I will have it ready for this month. As you can probably see, I’ve been sorting out a few things on here. The first thing is changing the out-of-date author page with a new one that details the highlights of my work, including links on where to find each of them.
Which leads to the second thing – the links themselves. The dark grey has been replaced with a dark red, fitting the styling I’m going for more clearly. E3 is round again, and a lot of new announcements will always be coming from it. As per the norm I'll be doing both Wishes and Final Word articles, as well as covering the panels that always come.
EA are again hosting their own show away from E3 itself, and Nintendo have gone all-out again with Treehouse streams, tournaments, and the usual presentation - this time labelled as Nintendo Spotlight. If anything else needs talking about from the event (especially if Star Wars games are involved), it will be covered in its own post after the conference. Star Wars Day is almost upon as again, so May the Fourth Be With You, and may you take some Revenge of the Fifth. And straight off a new part of Doctor Who: The Star Wars Chronicles will be posted on that day. This story is reaching its conclusion now, and it is probably the most trying time for the characters.
If you've listened to the audio, you'll know of one big event that happens, but it now makes more sense within the story, and has been extended into something I feel is powerful for both DarkRula and The Doctor. So, Dark Descents, May 4th. On WattPad. April is an interesting month for one very special reason. Star Wars Celebration has come around once again, but this holds a bit more importance as it is celebrating forty years of the franchise. I've only been a fan for a quarter of that time, but it's been an awesome experience.
The films, the games, the books and comics - especially the Republic Commando series - have all been keeping me interested. And especially the animated TV series, which is really when I started to grow into being the fan I am today. Last month I teased something new that would be released to the Kindle Store either this month or next. In this update, I can now unveil that. Over three years ago, I had an original story running called TV and Film Residential Camp.
It was a story about an unknown country down in the southern hemisphere that liked to keep to itself. A student holiday wasn't all that it seemed, and one student was able to break out of the memory alterations. He took a trip to the United Kingdom, and specifically a town called Halesowen. Just a slight change to the title of these monthly updates to give clear indication of what they are. Clarity is key, after all.
I said I wanted to start uploading some Sonic Generations videos in the run-up to Sonic Mania's release, but my laptop is no longer wanting to record and play games at the same time. And when I do try and record, it is wildly inconsistent with how it plays out. |
