With June, there’s usually a big event lasting a week that brings a lot to talk about. This year is different, though. The current pandemic owing to COVID-19 has put a lot of events on hold. With E3 being one of those events, plenty of smaller digital events have sprung up to give such announcements. So many have started appearing that it feels impossible to keep track of them all, and not all of them are within June.
There’s an event in a few days revealing more about the PS5 and the games that will be coming to it, which should provide a decent look at some multi-platform third party offerings to go with those Playstation exclusives. There’s EA’s event, keeping close to when E3 would have been, and a Ubisoft event in July. Microsoft should be revealing more with their next 20/20 event, and Nintendo are more than likely just going to drop announcements when they need to.
I won’t be covering all events and announcements, but those that offer something good for me to talk about. Games that I’ve got an interest in. Along with those, the first of the expansions for Pokémon Sword and Shield releases this month, so I’ll be sure to be talking about that once I get to playing it. Within all these announcements, I think it’s time for TT Games to be lifting the lid on The Skywalker Saga and what the next generation of LEGO games are capable of.
Delays are always a thing with me, and last month was no exception. The final three chapters of Pokémon: Shadow Boom are coming this month, with the story that would have been started in July instead coming at the start of next year. As stated in last month’s update, Elemental Heroes 2 has been delayed into Q4, with all of these delays set to give me a bit more time to focus myself once again.
One thing that is indefinitely being delayed is part two of looking at the GTA-verse Herzan. I’ve looked through that original article, and feel there’s little I can give that won’t feel like a deep-dive into why those locations were chosen or making comparisons to my own version of the Herzan state.
There’s still going to be a few videos coming, with the only one I’ll announce being for the expansion of Pokémon Sword and Shield. Just like I offered an exploration of the Wild Area within the main game, so will I do the same with this expansion – where the world is pretty much built completely with the concept of the Wild Area in mind.
