The first thing I’ll touch on this month is a bit of a change with how my social media is managed. I think if you’ve been on either Facebook or Twitter, you’ll have seen how much nothing they are except for the links to content on this site. While I want to promote the content I put out, I don’t want them to just be doing so.
As such, I will be posting a bit more often with topics that don’t have links attached. Sometimes they might be related to topics within my articles, and other times being just things I want to talk about that I feel don’t need an article.
I’ll be doing something different on Reddit, which has already been active throughout Star Wars Month. Links will be grouped together when there’s enough content to display, with important articles being highlighted with their own posts. Things I talk about on Twitter can see a bit more elaboration on both Reddit and Facebook in longer posts, but they still won’t be as long as articles.
As for the content you’ll be seeing this month, Pokémon: Shadow Boom is seeing the three remaining chapters posted to Wattpad. The story is currently paused on all the main players within Olivine City watching over a Pikachu overloaded with Shadow Aura protecting the Shadow Storm machinery. The story will see the main players transition to Hoenn for the final confrontation with Team Snagem.
In confirmed gaming events, we have Microsoft revealing some games for the Xbox Series X on a new Inside Xbox, which I’ll certainly be giving some thoughts on. While not confirmed, it is likely we’ll be seeing something relating to Star Wars games on 4/May. Some gameplay of LEGO Skywalker Saga wouldn’t go amiss, but even we get nothing, I’ll still be talking some more about it.
The two articles I’d delayed into this month will also be happening, so there’ll be that Sonic the Hedgehog related article, and the second look at the GTA-verse Michigan I had designed. And speaking of GTA, I’ll be showing off a few more custom races on GTA Online. That’s not the only video, however, as the last major update for Star Wars Battlefront 2 arrived last month, and I want to be showing off some Instant Scarif Action.
In my quest to showcase more gameplay videos, I’ll be putting some focus to Starlink. This is a great game mired by its connection to the toys-to-life platform, though it does feel as though the controls need to be wrestled with in space combat. I do wish it would see a sequel, as it would be great to see the gameplay expanded on with a new system to explore.
Lastly, I have to mention delays to Kindle fiction works. Elemental Heroes 2 is being delayed into Q4, which pushes that unannounced third of phase 2 into 2021. As the website has gone through its changes, and plenty of other things behind the scenes, there has been very little work put towards these two over the last two months. To give myself enough time to get everything sorted with them, the delay has been put into effect.
The last bits of work to the website will be completed this month, which includes the sections related to all my fiction. As a reminder, these sections will cover everything released on that platform, so the original fiction will include Pokémon: Shadow Boom and Secrets Behind the Truth as they originally were. The Chameleon Chronicles and Doctor Who: The Star Wars Chronicles will feature in both original and Wattpad sections even though they were ported directly to the latter platform.
